iPhone 16 Pro Unveiled: All you need to know and price in Nigeria
The iPhone 16 Pro as unveiled on 16th September 2024 has a larger dimension due to its enlarged screen, a better battery life capacity. It also has an improved camera system with a special button for controlling snapping and a powerful processor.

New Features
Display – The new iPhone 16 Pro comes with a display that has been increased from 6.1 to 6.3 inches, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a display that has been increased from 6.7 to 6.9 inches. However, no changes were made to the peak brightness as it remains the same at 2000 nits. Apple says they have the thinnest bezels of any smartphone on the market.

Main Camera – iPhone 16 Pro comes with a new 48-megapixel with an improved sensor that will enable you to take photos with virtually zero lag and even shoot fast-moving objects plus a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus. Finally, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. It also has an identical set of modules just like the iPhone 15 Pro Max that came out last year.

Processor – This phone uses the new 3-nanometer A18 Pro processor as its hardware platform, a six-core CPU & a six-core GPU. The processor and GPU were increased by 15℅ and 20% respectively compared to the A17 Pro. Apple has also improved the cooling system and revised the internal layout compared to its predecessors.
Battery – The improvement on the battery came with a 4-hour increase in battery life and the capacity is 3,577mah. The iPhone 16 Pro can play video for up to 27 hours, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max for up to 33 hours. The models also support wireless charging using the Qi2 standard.

Additional feature
The iPhone 16 Pro is also equipped with a new Camera Control button, located on the right edge under the power button. It allows you to quickly launch the camera, take a photo, or start recording a video. Additionally, the button supports swipes, which enables you to control the zoom, the degree of background blur, and other shooting parameters.

The new smartphone now supports recording cinematic slow-motion video in 4K @ 120 fps. It also allows you to change the frame rate during shooting without stopping the recording. Apple also added a professional audio mode thanks to the presence of four studio-quality microphones with support for Spatial Audio.

With the unavailing of the new iPhone 16, Nigerians and other iPhone lovers are already looking to know the current price and here are the prices to help you preparing for the arrival in Nigeria. Although, Rumors have it that Apple has removed the 128GB version of the iPhone 16 Pro but this is not true. This model is expected to cost around NGN1,643,355(One million, six hundred and forty-three thousand, three hundred and fifty-five naira). Whereas the expected price for the iPhone 16 Pro Max is about N1,972,355(One million, nice hundred and seventy-two thousand, three hundred and fifty-five naira) for the 256GB version. Apple has announced that the new products will be available on store shelves on September 20.
